Is it okay if I take my wife to a local barbershop for trimming of her long hair?

My wife has thick black long hair below her hips. Even for a simple trim for regular maintenance, She has to visit local beauty parlour quite often as her hair grows very fast. As all know the beauty parlours cost a huge amount i.e., more than Rs. 300/- per trim. Which is not something a middle class family can afford regularly. Normally I trim her hair at home at a regular interval. however a professional cut is always better Recently I saw a lady accompanied by her teenager son came to the local barber shop where i go for my haircut / shave and after the boy got his haircut, the lady asked the barber for a simple trim for her hip length hair which he did. The cost of this was a mere Rs.50/-. This was a simple cut for her long hair which is like my wife's hair. Then this idea came to my mind. I asked the barber also who informed that sometime he does get such female clients. He is even will for a home visit for trimming my wife's hair for Rs. 50/-. Can I request some opinion on this idea of mine. I would also request if any lady who has got experience of haircut at a barbershop to please share with us so that my wife also gets confidence.
