Does anyone else think Obama isn't too good at being serious?

I don't like really anything he is doing as President but this isn't about that. I saw him do his standup bit following Seth Myers and thought he was hilarious, but the only problem is he always seems to be doing a stand up bit. I think he naturally loves to laugh and smile so he never comes off as a serious person who can lead when we need him the most. Recently he scolded congress and told them to get back to work but he did it with jokes and smiles. Maybe it works for him... idk
